Our People
Momentum Missions is about people - reaching people with the gospel of Jesus. Not only is Momentum Missions a ministry for people, but it's also led by people. Here are the people who make Momentum Missions what it is:
Tom Jackson: Founder. Growing up reading about the need for the gospel in Eastern Europe through books like Escape from Warsaw and God's Smuggler, God called Tom to missionary life through a short term missions trip in 1990. With a diverse ministry background including church planting in Ukraine & Scotland, Tom lives in Bathgate, Scotland with his wife, Jean, and six daughters. Along with overseeing Momentum Missions, Tom pastors CentrePoint Church and works with Christian Believers United. Fortunately, he preaches better than he plays golf. Email Tom.
Chris Gill: Coordinator. Having spent time with YWAM's Mercy Ship IV and serving on a church plant team in Budapest, Hungary, Chris is sensative to the needs short term missionaries encounter in international contexts. Growing up in eastern North Carolina, Chris and his wife Renea have lived in Europe for almost 7 years (and now have two children. When he's not organising mission trips and planning a gospel advance in a hardened European capital, Chris' passion is disc golf . Email Chris.
Eric Syfrett: Administrator. Eric runs our office in Durham, North Carolina and serves our missionaries with excellent financial administration. A graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in accounting, Eric also serves as Executive Pastor of King's Park International Church. Along with helping to mobilse missionaries for gospel advance, Eric enjoys spending time with his family and photography. Email Eric.
